Baby V

I had the pleasure of shooting her before she was born and was sooo excited to meet her.

So excited in fact I loaded up my props and everything and left my camera bag at home!

A quick turn around and we were set to go. What a sweetie pie she was.

Looking forward to future shoots as this young lady grows.

Snapped this at my brothers wedding last summer. They had passed out these delicious chocolate truffles as a favor. Best man Max wanted one too. She was not playing along.....smart girl! :)

Figuring out this whole blog thing. I really was not liking the size of the photos on this blog. When I tried to enlarge them they just did not look good. I think I have it figured out now. Hopefully this looks good and I can continue this method......

Miss M

My parents house has such a beautiful back yard. Now if I could shrink the distance about oh I don't know 1000 miles I'd constantly use it as a shooting site. Pond, creek, bridges, the woods and the blackberries....oh the blackberries........ :D

Sweet Baby A

I love baby shoots!

It reminds me of how big my children have become, also that they could not possibly of ever been that small.

Sweet baby A did not want to miss her moment she was wide awake for almost the whole shoot! Finally she was coaxed to sleep just in time for the end of our time together.

I love this one........

V's Sweet 16

Such a sweet sweet girl. So pretty in every shot! So much fun to shoot someone who lights up when a camera is near....my children usually hide!

It also reminded me why I stopped doing weddings....so much pressure to get everything right.....to not miss a moment.

In event shooting there's no "Can you turn this way?" or "Do that again."

It was a great night and I loved doing it.

Remembering...

Took these last year of singer Bobby Long in Colorado. MySpace.

Great fellow, great singer, well on his way to a successful career.

We had about 15 minutes for this shoot, he had to leave for his show that night in Colorado Springs.

It was quick, a storm was in the air....lightning in the distance.....perfect light.
